This series of work is inspired by the book 'Ireland's Wild Plants: Myths, Legends and Folklore' by Niall Mac Coitir. Each wild plant's stem ends in Ogham writing, spelling out the thing that they symbolise in Irish folklore. The wild plant's name is stitched beside it (in Irish) along with symbols for the planets and zodiac signs it is related to.
