Spent a good while on the piece on Day 3. Body outline done in stem stitch with 1 strand. White clothes and fabric outline done in split stitch with 2 strands.
The frame is done with another variegated thread (stranded cotton). Very outer parts done with chain stitch in 2 strands and the inner chunkier line is heavy chain with all 6 strands. It reminded me of a sort of fish bone so that's why I chose it!
Next up is the hair and trident. Then its time to add some beads 🤩
